TOWN OF PINETOP-LAKESIDE

 

ORDINANCE NO. 06-267

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PINETOP-LAKESIDE, ARIZONA, AMENDING “THE TOWN TAX CODE OF THE TOWN OF PINETOP-LAKESIDE, ARIZONA” AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 87-57, AS AMENDED, AND 96-113.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF PINETOP-LAKESIDE, ARIZONA:

 

SECTION 1:  Ordinance Nos. 96-113 is hereby repealed effective July 31, 2006.

 

SECTION 2:  That certain public document known as “The Town Tax Code of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona,” three copies of which are on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, which document was made a public record by Resolution No. 87-107, of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona and adopted by Ordinance No. 87-57 is hereby amended as follows:

 

Delete “two (2%) percent” and insert “two and one-half (2˝%) percent” in the following sections:

 

                        Section 8A-405 (A)                 Section 8A-445 (A)

                        Section 8A-410 (A)                 Section 8A-450 (A)

                        Section 8A-415 (A)                 Section 8A-455 (A)

                        Section 8A-416 (A)                 Section 8A-460 (A)

                        Section 8A-417 (A)                 Section 8A-470 (A)

                        Section 8A-425 (A)                 Section 8A-475 (A)

                        Section 8A-430 (A)                 Section 8A-480 (A)

                        Section 8A-435 (A)

 

SECTION 3:  Except as herein provided, the Town Tax Code of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, as adopted by Ordinance No. 87-57 and the amendments thereto are declared to remain in effect as adopted.

 

SECTION 4:  If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance or any part of the Town Tax Code adopted herein by reference is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any Court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.

 

SECTION 5:  The effective date of this Ordinance shall be the 1st day of August 2006.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, this 20th day of April 2006, by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays.
